Musical Healing 🌳🎶💥🎙

𝓦𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻 𝓦𝓮𝓭𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓭𝓪𝔂

My energy was really heavy. I felt like the weight of the world was on my body. I had one bowling ball attached to my right hip, and one to the left.

I felt stagnant. I couldn’t get any flow going from movement, to work, to find any kind of peace.

I decided to take myself to the park and lay down on the ground. Let my body hit the earth, the soil.

I picked out a nice blanket that my mom got me in India with wonderfully healing colors.

As I looked up into the sky and the trees, I saw myself looking up instead of feeling down.

I put on some healing meditation music to let go of negative energy, and I plugged into my airpods, drifted off… and fell asleep.

I don’t remember my dreams, but when I woke up, I felt different, as though I had a little more energy. A little more grit to go on.

There was the sweetest little baby that had crawled his way to my blanket, and he popped his face into my face, and instantly I smiled, laughed, and felt this sense of incredible joy, almost as if I was a little kid with him.

It was freeing. His mom came over, and we started a nice chat about her son, and him being their first child. It was one of those life moments that felt good, spiritual, and kind.

My day proceeded to move forward with a little more ease. I was looking forward to the concert at the winery downtown on Little Island.

I hadn’t been to a live music gig since covid, and I was looking forward to being out and hearing a new singer, Nicole Henry.

I was seated with lovely warm couple, with thick stunning gray hair. They were big fans of Nicole Henry, this was the 5th time they were seeing her. They were sharing how she reminds them of Whitney Houston, and I was really in for a treat.

It was the song “Is It a Crime” that she covered with such passion and conviction, and it gave me goosebumps everywhere. She wasn’t Whitney, but she definitely was a close runner up.

I enjoyed the rest of the songs as they soothed my soul, and enjoyed my little encounter with the older couple as we all talked about the next time she’d be playing.

I got home that evening, and before I went to sleep, I lit some candles and played Deuter on Spotify. Ambient music without words bringing healing qualities to let go, connect to another plane, and raise the energy within you.

Music is my medicine. It’s my savior. It’s a tool that is worthy of everything. We can take awareness of our emotions, and check in with ourselves. Do we need healing soft jazz, or a jump start to get moving on a project- it’s feeling your feelings and allowing them to dictate the way that you can rise up and start soaring within energetic musical vibrations.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow has said, “Music is the universal language of mankind.”

Healing takes place when you’re ready to do something good for yourself. Whether that’s listening to beautiful music or taking yourself to the park.

We are made up of energetic vibrations, as is all music. Vibrations on different wavelengths. Use these inner and outer vibrations to create a full circle of love for yourself.
