Fall is in the air. Falling leaves are everywhere. I notice there are only a few red leaves standing out pulling my attention, I have to pick up the red.
โWhy the red ones?โ my friend asked me.
โBecause red is the color of our root chakra- itโs connected to our roots, our family, our mother, her mother, our strength, our source of the divine feminine.โ
โWow thatโs so powerfulโ he responded.
Color has an energy and relates back to emotions.
It was a day of everything I needed- finding the roots within myself.
The previous evening, I had pain running up my left leg that came from nowhere- I couldn't get grounded. I couldnโt walk forward.
I was grateful this morning that I was simply able to walk.
Our feet and the grounding of our beings have a lot to do with where we are right now. Are we on the path where we want to go?
Sometimes we lose that direction, and itโs scary. How do we find our way home?
Home being you. Your strongest most grounded self.
I laid down on the damp grass and leaves, and I found it. A sense of stability, clarity and strength. And right then...
the sun came out.
It felt so good on my face. It was warming, calming, bright.
Yellow is such a strong beautiful color- healing from the skies.
As I walk down natureโs path my feet are grounded, moving forward, taking the steps and the actions to reroot my being.
How do we find our way home?
The answer is step by step- one foot in front of the other.
We only need to find the faith to take that one step. Faith in the firm ground ahead of us. This moment. Just this one moment. The rest will fall into place.
