What's the desire within you wanting to spark?
It was Sunday morning, and I was on my way back from the farmerās market. There was a huge stand of incredible photographs and art pieces displayed on 77th & Columbus.
This Marilyn Monroe and her red lips captured my attention.
I asked the man behind the pictures, was it the sunlight or the clear plastic on top that was causing it to be so blurry?
He said, āOhhh, do I have a story for you...
This is actually from a very famous photograph that I took a picture of in 1954, and wanted it to be blurry. I later enhanced her lips to give the essence of desire. Marilyn Monroe was all about desire, fire, and passion.ā
and this just stopped me dead in my tracks.
I then shared with him my love of color, and how the red instantly attracted me to it.
I brought it home and hung it in a perfect spot in my bathroom.
The timing was perfect as Monday was the full moon in Pisces.
The full moon in Pisces is a time when your dreams and visions can manifest.
A full moon of imagination, illusion, seductionā¦
The key factors that made up Marilyn Monroe.
It made me question, what am I desiring right now? What is it I want?
Ask yourself that same question.
It isnāt always about romantic passion, but personal passion. That red fire within you.
